Very strange, never had problems with that command.

Some more info:

Other special things ?   (you enabled security ?)

If I wait after enter put command about 5 minutes and don't exit program I recive these message:

[LOCALHOST] /slide/files/ $ put run.sh mine.txt
Uploading  'run.sh' to '/slide/files/mine.txt': Reopen connection : Host:localhost Port:8080

PUT /slide/files/mine.txt HTTP/1.1

Host: localhost:8080
Cookie: $Version=1;JSESSIONID=rcgauj1mx1; $Path=/slide; $Domain=lama.cs.bris.ac.uk
User-Agent: Jakarta HTTP Client/1.0

[LOCALHOST] /slide/files/ $

In this case, I can't see my file via the web and it will be treated like a directory. I mean when I click on my
file name on the web page, the Directory listing for /files/mine.txt  page will be shown.
After enter any command  like mkcol, when I try to see mine.txt, I receive an netscape error box which says:
The document contains no data.
Again I try to put somthing:

[LOCALHOST] /slide/files/ $ put run.bat third.txt
Uploading  'run.bat' to '/slide/files/third.txt': Reopen connection : Host:localhost Port:8080

PUT /slide/files/third.txt HTTP/1.1
Authorization: Basic Z3Vlc3Q6bXlndWVzdHB3
Host: localhost:8080
Cookie: $Version=1;JSESSIONID=rcgauj1mx1; $Path=/slide; $Domain=localhost

[LOCALHOST] /slide/files/ $

Now, when I try to see third.txt on the Directory listing for /files page, I get no data box, with out any behavior like directory.
Bita.
