Hi All, I am working on the implementation of Slide API. I also have a problem in editing the documents.....
I uploaded the document through slide API. So it stores the document name along with version number. Ex. sample.doc_1.0, sample.doc_1.1. I am trying to edit the document online as a webfolder and save it on a remote server. I am accessing the documents through Webdav servlet. Now If I click on the link displayed by webdav servlet, I am able to open the latest version but the problem is while saving it. When I try to save it, it is not storing the doc. It is displaying a folder with name as file name in the "Save As" dialog box.Ex. sample.doc. It is neither storing the content nor the meta data. Has anybody faced this kind of problem? If so, how to solve this. We have had no problems using Word to do this. We use both IE and WebDrive to get to the server, and no problems at all with Word. -----Original Message----- From: Torgeir Veimo [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, April 01, 2002 8:05 AM To: Slide Users Mailing List Subject: Re: How to edit server document through WEBDAV? Except that word / office is extremely picky about the webdav server. Any success stories from people being able to use word with slide? -- -Torgeir -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
