Hi,

Now that we have versioning running we'd like to tackle the next part,
namely access control.

I'm guessing that the access control information (grant/deny etc) is
stored in the 'securitystore' setup in Domain.xml.

We have set security on (~\slide\WEB-INF\slide.properties). We have
un-commented the <security-constraint> section towards the end of
~\slide\WEB-INF\web.xml. BTW could someone explain the purpose of
the <realm-name> element and how to configure it ?

assuming we want to set up the following
- Two users, Fred and Joe
- Two collections /slide/files/fredstuff and /slide/files/joestuff
- Fred can read and write his own stuff
- Joe can read and write his own stuff, but can also READ Fred's

Can someone give us some details of what we need to set up to achieve this?

As an aside, I can only echo Matt Gundersen's remarks regarding the need
for better documentation for SLIDE. I realize that SLIDE is still a work
in progress, and subject to change, but some guidelines on configuration
issues, such as security :), would be very useful to those wishing to
try out SLIDE. This need not be a fully-fledged manual, even a few html
pages in point form listing the required steps and some samples would
help a great deal.

Many Thanks

Anton Schoultz
