Hi!

I also would be interested in this...
Can two slide namespaces share the same content-store? It seems to me that
the docs explicitly state that this is not possible, each namespace by
definition has its own contentstore.

Can a slide namespace and a normal webapp have the same name? Can the
contentstore coincide with the webapp on the filesystem for
filecontentstores? Doesn't look like it...

If this is the case I would find it a shame, since I would find an
attractive feature or mode of operation to set up several webapps all
accessing the same contentstore with different versions, possible actions
and permissions.
Thus one context could access the contentstore with full webDAV read/write
for edit users, one context could access the latest version of the files in
the content store for Quality Assurance staff, and a final context would
serve a 'released' version of the files from the contentstore.

Any pointers for this idea?

Richie

Betreff: 2 Slide intances sharing 1 content store?

Hi,

is it possible to have 2 instances of Slide (meaning running in 2 different
servlet engines) accessing the same JDBC contentstore and nodestore?

Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup? Are there any caveats
to be aware of?

Thank you
Guido
