New to Slide

Hello,
 I am new to Slide and WebDAV. I have successfully set up slide as
Standalone. I am able to create users and view and upload files through
IE. But I am not getting any idea how to use security, lock, unlock etc
and how to use in our intranet. Moreover I also want to know whether
(and how) I can use these features to my application using Slide.
Please help me.
