We use the one that is distributed with slide version 2.1.

I guess it is 2.0.

I would like to know what commons-httpclient you
use with Jakarta Slide ?

still 2.1 or 3.0 ?

I ask this question because commons-httpclient 3.0 was not compatible
with webdalib 2.1.

Thanks.

Hi Thomas,

We have performed several tests for performance and continue testing with
different cases. The attached file shows the result of tests that we performed
up to now. I hope it will be clean to you, sorry for Turkish in the graphics,
but you can examine the numbers in the tables.

I can tell the most significant performance factor is the number of the files
in the same collection.

Regards,

Meltem Yesiltas.

Hi,

The current 2.2 Slide version has encoding problems with accents while the 2.1
release has not this problem.
I think that Slide developpers want to fix this bug before releasing the 2.2
version, but I am not sure. (cf. my mail about encoding problems)
I am very interested in your document given that performance are also very
important for the project I am working on (I have cc the mailing list of this
project for information).
I expect to do a series of tests to determine actions that have a bad
effect on
performance.

Regards,

Thomas
