Unfortunately we don't have an example application at this time, I'd like to create one soon but cannot give you a precise date. Day Software is using Sling to build some serious content-based applications and products, so we're confident that it is well suited to creating such applications. But of course that doesn't help people actually use Sling, so creating examples and docs is very high on our priorities. -Bertrand
