No, it doesn't.
Hmm, not sure - yes, it works with 2.0.7 - but it seems that people new to maven haven less problems if they use 2.0.9 than using 2.0.7 - both work, but it should be less pain for our users (and us), if everyone uses the latest (and greatest?) version of maven.If not, I would not require 2.0.9 for now as our build just as well works with 2.0.7.
