I am really qualified to comment, but I manage a non-Java-developer resource
who was blocked from making progress on a UX project in front of Sling because
he was relying on part of the web console to map a folder on his hard drive to
a Jackrabbit URL space. I agree that with the workaround, it may not be a
blocker. But without the workaround I think it could be considered a blocker
from a Sling-user point of view...
