OK I tried what you suggested. The same thing occured which is the same thing that has occured with every cooking for 4.0 going back to the beginning. The linux load proceeds to about the halfway point and then what looks like a memory dump occurs. A listing of what appears to be memory addresses and their contents. It then freezes and that's it. I have brought this up several times previously but noone seems to have a clue as to what the problem is. I have gotten the impression that a Windows QEMU user is not part of the "Club" and doesn't get much help.
