Hi Aleksej, Thanks for fixing the "get" problem related to this bug. Update, reinstall, remove needs your attention :) This bug only appears if the packages tazpkg chooses in error are installed. The method used to determine installed packages is misinterpreting these names. These are the packages on my system but there may be others: With xz installed, user can't reinstall, remove or update lzma With libcomerr3 installed, user can't reinstall, remove or update libcomerr With freetype-infinality installed, user can't reinstall, remove,or update freetype With yad-html installed, user can't reinstall, remove or update yad With libsasl-modules installed, user can't reinstall or remove libsasl-without-ldap With mesa-wayland installed, user can't reinstall, remove, update libglw-mesa or libegl-mesa Update is a forced reinstall of existing package with new build or version.
You should be able to reproduce the problem. Install xz: tazpkg -gi xz Remove lzma: tazpkg remove lzma Remove package "xz" (5.2.1)? (y/N) Reinstall lzma : tazpkg -gi lzma --forced Package "xz-5.2.1" already in the cache Installation of package "xz" ================================================================================ General-purpose data compressor with a high compression ratio. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copying package... [ Done ] Extracting package... [ Done ] Remember modified packages... [ Done ] Installing package... [ Done ] Removing all tmp files... [ Done ] ================================================================================ Package "xz" (5.2.1) is installed. If xz is installed and isn't in the cache it downloads xz when reinstalling or updating lzma.
