With reference to the SliTaz forum post - https://forum.slitaz.org/topic/usage-of-slitaz-40-rolling/page/2 , I tried using the base iso- https://people.slitaz.org/~shann/slitaz-current-stuff/slitaz-current-20230829.iso .
It boots to the command login prompt. After logging in as tux, I connected to the internet (as root) and used 'tazx' (vesa). I also installed 'slim'. On using 'startx', I am able to get to the login GUI page. However, on entering username & password as 'tux' , I am unable to login. I am getting the error - "Failed to execute login command" I am getting the same error even with 'root' user. The above error is there both when booting from USB and from hard drive. Any suggestions ? I am unable to post on the forum, hence using the email route. -slitaz_user4 (SliTaz forum member)
