Sloan In Buffalo * Info!
Here is all the relevant info for the Sloan gig this Sunday in Downtown Buffalo:
* No IDs are necessary, it is an all ages show, located outside. It will
be an afternoon block party
type deal. Gates open at 1:00pm, show starts at 2:00pm.
Guessing from the line-up, I
think that Sloan would hit the stage around 4:00pm...?
* Basically what they are doing is blocking off a couple of streets
downtown where there is a
new bar/party district happening. The stage is against the
back wall of a building, and
everyone stands in a parking lot in front of the stage.
There is maximum visibility and
you can get very close to the stage...another reason that
you should not miss this show
is that it will not be very crowded. Why? There is a big
radio war going on down here
among "alternative" & "edge" stations... the one station is
promoting Spirit OTW/Sloan
and the other station has Goo Goo Dolls/10,000
Maniacs/Universal Honey happening the
same day for $5... so only the cool cats will be at the
Sloan show...

Someone should try to get a map, as a picture is worth a
thousand words. It's happening
on Chippewa St. between Pearl & Franklin, 10 minutes from
the Peace Bridge.
