Yeah, I did a bit of work this week deploying some pg_service.conf files
to some of our servers in order to diminish the amount of .profile
hackery.  It's pretty slick.

I think I want to try it out for a while longer before configuring
Slony-I to use 'service=slony-db-node1', but it sure seems promising.

The one trouble with it is that the documentation is limited, and
doesn't particularly fully describe what it does.  (e.g. - what happens
if you have interacting parms, such as where pg_service.conf indicates
some values, and you add others that might 'conflict')  Of course,
that's a case for improving the docs, which is often the Right Idea...
