The current CVS HEAD (to be the 1.2 release) does not support PostgreSQL version 7.3.x any more. There are more incompatibilities in the stored procedure code that won't work with 7.3 either. If you intend to use 1.2, you will have to upgrade your Postgres installations to at least 7.4 (you can use Slony 1.1.5 for switchover upgrade).
