What's considered "best practice" in adding the sequences to the
database(s) prior to the above steps?

Which is preferred:

1) Adding the sequence(s) to all nodes by running a slonik script
'Execute script'?

2) Adding the sequence(s) manually via psql to each node?

I assume that once I have the sequence(s) on each node, I follow the
steps outlined in the email above?

Thanks for your guidance.
