I don't know if anyone ever actually answered your question.  If I
understand you correctly, you can only get what you want by log
shipping.

Every online node has to have superuser access to other nodes in the
cluster.  That's part of the requirements for Slony.

If this represents a security risk to you, then what you need is log
shipping.  What you do is copy the log segments via scp or something. 
That way, the replica never has to have read access in the origin.
