Hello all, I ran into a problem when installing Slony-I 1.2.6 onto a Windows Server 2003 machine recently, and was wondering if anyone else has encountered this.
I used the Windows Installer package for PostgreSQL, and installed PostgreSQL and Slony-I simultaneously. When running an "init cluster" command through slonik, it failed with a message saying that the file xxid.v80.sql was missing. I compared the contents of the share directory with that on a nearby Linux machine (on which I'd compiled Slony from source), and - sure enough - the file was on the Linux box but not on the Windows one. I copied the file over, and after a couple more small trip-me-ups with encoding and CR/LFs, it worked.
