I have heard about positive test results on Windows and AIX, and
between Jan and I, Linux and FreeBSD also have "test successes."
The "pre2" test tarball has been out for a few days; haven't heard any
negative reports in a while.
In the absence of negative reports, I think it's getting time for a
release... Last calls???
