No, that won't work. You'll confuse Slony. It will be surprised that records it thought got to one database never made it there at all. Don't try to subvert Slony's controls by cute work-arounds. They almost always break things. (This is a significant source of much of the trouble that some users end up having, in fact. Slony is complicated enough without you trying to outsmart it.)
