Hi All, I have been looking at how to implement monitoring for Slony and would like to have some recommendations on debian. Looking at the tools provided, when I tried to use the psql_replication_check.pl and test_slony_state_replication.pl, it always report a problem with "Can't locate Pg.pm". Is there a missing library file that I have to install? How can I port the 2 script over to using the DBI interface? Also can someone explain more on what are the things to monitor in Slony? I am looking at using iPmonitor SQL QA engine with PostgreSQL OLEDB plugin to monitor the replication but do not know what exactly to look for. Or perhap using a bash script to grep some info and send report etc...
