Hi all,
I make some changes on altperl tools, and want to share them:
* slon_tools.conf : add parameters to configure options listed bellow.
* slon_start: allow the slon daemon start with the "-f config_file" in
order to minimize exposure from the command line.
* slon_start: allow choose start watchdog slon_watchdog or slon_watchdog2
* slon_watchdog : configure to be or not to be verbose on log files
* slon_watchdog2: adjust to make then possible to run (need opinnion
from experienced people to know if this routine still relevant and if
need more adjusts)
* slonik_create_set: Include the idenfier of the set as defined in
slontools.conf "set_name" => {...} on the comment of set like "Set 1
(setname) for cluster" , more easy to remember
* slon_kill: try to kill only processes for nodes specified in
slon_tools.conf. Add the capability to kill just a specified node of
the cluster
And made a init script sample using slon_start and slon_kill.
