libc6 contrib i386.rpm's are not huge (600+MB?).
The libc6 contrib SRPMS are less than 600MB. Yet it is immensely useful
to have source code nearby.
All in all about 1.3 GB of space needed.
The bleeding edge is contrib|net, and this is less crowded. If we make an
RPM submission these days, we register for an account to dump stuff into
contrib|net. We could mirror this directly from redhat for people who
really want the bleeding edge contribs; it is currently 235meg.
