Hi first of all i'm indeed working on the site design. If progress seems a bit slow it is because i got sidetracked ;P when i decided to try my hands at implementing a suite of auto-updating/archiving tools for websites...i've always wanted to try this after having seen the kind of tools used at NCB, Singnet and CNet Singapore, and now that i've left school, time on hand = time for such distractions ;) i'll get back to the main focus of the task ;) anyway feel free to check out one of the tools i did for SLP - http://www.sg-gaming.com/linux/news/newsupdater.html this is a very elementary tool that allows anyone who has access (at the present moment this translates to anyone ;P) to update the site without the need for manual coding and ftping. it also allows the ability to update the site wherever one is, remotely. (actually i think most of you Perl gurus can do it within minutes....;P) the tool updates this page: http://www.sg-gaming.com/linux/index.shtml (which is the new work-in-progress design - note the shtml extension - dun type wrongly) hopefully we can refine this one so that everyone can help in updating stuff without all logging into the server.
