Thanks James. Yes, you are right. We should draw up a legal contract
once we're an organization. Unfortunately, we're not (although I would
like us to be).

What is currently stopping us is:
        (1) We need a constitution
        (2) We need a committee (made up of chairman, secret., treas.)
        (3) We need $400 registration plus $40 per year

Unfortunately, not all of us believe in having an official chairman,
secret., treas.. Therefore, one way out is to have volunteers from among
us be the three stooges on paper and underneath we continue to operate the
way we do now (i.e. dynamically optimised to match person to specific
job), and nowhere in the organization even mention the above titles.

Legally, however, the three stooges have to bear the blame if anything
goes wrong, and have to get involved in the boring paperwork (signing
contracts, checking constitution, etc).

So for now, we're operating as a bunch of individuals working together
with hardwarezone and sporting our own web site; or in the operative
sense, we _are_ hardwarezone.

*sigh* This society thing is getting to be suffocating even b4 it exists.
But it is important for identity. I am starting to see this.

Greg, could we have the LUGS constitution? Even if we do decide to split
with LUGS and NUS LUG (which seems likely and even necessary), it would
make good boilerplate. Thanks.

Is anyone willing to work with me on constitutional stuff? It's the thing
that I was talking about at our first meeting at webworks... the thing
that will formalize our values and general direction.

Rhan.
