Hi guys,
I received a note from my boss about his idea on building a firewall
based on a hardened Linux kernel and before I could answer him, he went
to speak to SUN Microsystems Singapore about it. We get a nod from SUN
Microsystems for them to sponsor us with equipments and workstations and
whatever that we might need in the development process.
Anyone keen on this?
What would we need?
How many workstations?
Networking equipments?
What is the timeframe to build this firewall?
Would we need professionals in this area?
How much to hire them?
I am very excited about this, can we dicuss this also tommorrow when we
meet at Buona Vista? Pls reply soon guys, I have to make a decision
soon and I think a workgroup firewall which could be upgraded to an
enterprise level selling about 10K - 20K will be popular for SMEs! This
is a big oppurtunity for Linux and us.
