Hi guys,
I went to a Compaq Recruitment Partnership Meeting at Temasek Boulevard
on 27/07/1999 and they were showing their ALPHA Servers on Linux!
I managed to identify the Channels Manager and Director and I discussed
with them on how they would like to promote their ALPHA servers and the
Director was thinking of sponsoring a Compaq ALPHA server to us to host
Linux stuffs for the Asia Paicific Linux users!
We need to confirm soon on the configuration, services that we would
want to run and how Compaq will benefit from it so that we could have
the server ASAP running!
If there are no bottlenecks and redtape may I meet those whom are
interested soon to further dicussed this matter as I am writing to them
before the week ends.
Here we go SLP, migrate to ALPHA-LINUX on Compaq!
