In case all here are thinking that we are not
making any progress, I have to reiterate that
Elvin is not exactly the right person to ask
regarding our progress. He does not know
all the high level decisions that have been made.
It is true that before we moved to the new
server, our progress was really slow and sad
to say, sadly laughable. It was basically a one
man job, Ng Kai Hoe's job.
Now with the server and those prized hardisks,
there are so many people working in parallel
that I have lost count. 6 more on my list are joining
us.
Our reviews and presentations have made it to
linuxtoday. Some reviews made it to lokigames.com.
Our reputation in the linux scene is getting better
and better. That is more important than anything.
linuxtoday already visits our website to look for
articles regularly, previously they do not even do
that.
I assure you ONCE the slashdot like bbs is up, the
whole portal WILL evolve by itself! THAT IS THE
FIRST AND FOREMOST THING WE MUST DO,
because that is precisely what is going to make us
bigger than a dot on the MAP.
Once my ICQ-push-info-to-user program (read
Work in Progress) is UP and running, We will be providing
services to the rest of the world!
And SuSE review, Eugene will get it up next week.
As far as I know there are none now. If we can get the
world's first review on SuSE 6.2, we will really be
famous!
We are proceeding in the right direction, we ARE
progressing. We just need the manpower!
