This is the part which I do not understand.
1) Elvin is an editor of SLP.
2) SLP has planned for an open source site long long
time ago. For lack of resource and manpower, we did
not implement it. We were basically waiting for someone
to be free.
3) Then Elvin complained about things not being
present, things which WE are supposed to get up. The
complain basically bounces back to him, why did he
not get those things working?
4) Suddenly Elvin is FREE enough to do Open Source
website, and holy shit, he is going to do it somewhere
else. So whenever Elvin finds the time to do something
he does it somewhere else! Beat that!
5) And in the end, all these websites are supposed to
be affiliated, you know, linux.com.sg and _ELVIN_.net.
linux.org.sg is the website of LUGS and its ICQ list is
situated in ELVIN.net. Great, is not it? Splitting of
resources. And "Elvin.net" has really everything to do with
Linux and open source. Really really really.
Of course, Elvin is free to do whatever he wants. As I
said, I respect everyone's freedom, I am just asking you
all whether that all MAKEs sense. And elvin, I really
do want to understand what you are trying to achieve
here. Why the inherent need to move everything to
_ELVIN_.net, it is not as if you are placing your materials
(which you will be given full intellectual attribution of)
in RAYMOND.com.sg, right? Am I right?
Hur?
