Hi
1)Errr....I got the following while trying to look at the open source site
>You're messing in an area you don't wanna mess in.
2)From the bbs, the range of possible areas is SOOOO wide. Perherps it should have
more focus? Most successful sites focus on a core set of ideas. Carpet bombing just
dilutes interest and participation.
I suggest the following hot topics in the programming world :
Linux related(probably want to choose a toolkit like Qt too) .
Languages : VB, Perl, Java, C, C++, MFC
(what else do they teach in schs/uni nowadays?
Prolog...shudder...Haskell...howl....)
3) Does anyone want to write a statistical library for Java with me? Java seriously
lacks one to do statistical analysis and stuff. Will be GPL...until I get we get
too many downloads...:)
