Creating a Boot-Diskette

In case that your BIOS does not allow booting from CDROM, you have to create a boot diskette.  To do this, you need either a DOS-based system (DOS/Windows 3.1/Windows 95/Windows 98/Windows NT) or a unit system with a CD drive and a diskette drive.

Creating a Boot-Diskette  under DOS/Windows
Insert the easyLinux  CD1 and open the sub-directory DOS.  Here you find a file "boot disk".  This file has to be written onto an empty diskette by using the program "RAWRITE.EXE".
Type "Rawrite" to write the file to the floppy disk and then boot from  diskette by resetting the Computer.

Creating a Boot-Diskette under Units/Linux
Mount the CD and execute the command # cat/cdrom/dos/bootdisk>/dev/floppy.  Whereby floppy means that raw device of the floppy drive of the unit system and CDROM by the mount point.

Just wondering.. If my system has no bootable CD-ROM option. How would I
boot the CD ? I could not find a boot disk option. Coz bootdisk option is
required for ftp mirrors. Unless u wanna do the iso ?
