Hey all (note: pls forgive if this ends up as MIME)
I've got a great problem for a sorta newbie. I've got slackware v7 (2.2.13)
and a promise ultra66 controller. Is there a patch 4 this kernel 4 this
problem or do I have to try and compile a development kernel (2.3.8 i
downloaded). And if anyone has any more info on this it would be
appreciated..
(oh and another thing promise says that support has been available since
2.2.10 however the mini-howto says "However some of the latest cards (the
Promise Ultra66 for instance) won't work even with the current 2.2.x
kernels") typical (of the manafacturer, not Linux).
