Well, two possible solutions that spring to mind now.
* don't use netcfg and instead hand carve your connect scripts
* put your preferred dns entries in /etc/resolv.conf and chmod it 400
(which may or may not stop netcfg from changing them).
I guess a third option is go through Red Hat's script setup and remove the
offending lines. I haven't used netcfg so I do not know how arduous a task
this will be.
