Hey,

You will have one machine (presumably a linux box since you've emailed
slug) dialing onto the net, set up for NAT (masquerading) to get the rest
of the LAN connected.  The other machines on your LAN will set the ip
address of this linux box as the gateway.

There is an ip-masquerade howto on linux.org if you want further
documentation.  I highly recommend reading this as it should answer most of
your questions and give you enough to work from.
