1. Dont bother with RPMs for php and apache ... I never managed to get them
working properly.
2. It's better to get mysql as RPMs (you need server, client and devel)
3. Make sure you remove the usually installed apache RPM. (Didnt do this and
was wondering why nothing was working ... than I realize the old version of
apache was still running.)
4. Installation order:
- Mysql RPMs
- Following the quick installation direction in the INSTALL file of php
- No need to add the AddType ... php3 line to httpd.conf ... it is present
by default in recent versions of Apache ... just uncomment it.
