I have one computer with braindead AWARD BIOS that keeps insisting that 1999
is followed by 2094. Unfortunately the BIOS is not software flashable and I
do not have an EEPROM programmer. Thus I am seeking a software solution.
Under the other operating system there is heaps of TSRs which intercept the
BIOS calls and offset pre 2000 dates into post 2000 ones. Under linux it
should be possible to do something like this in the kernel. Is anyone aware
of a patch (module or otherwise) which can do this to save me having to do
it myself?
