Ethereal is a sniffer-clone that does a great job of decoding network
traffic in real-time. By applying appropriate capture or display filters you
can certainly take say a 5 minute snapshot and get a good idea of exactly
who is talking to who. No pretty graphs as yet however, and has only a very
coarse summary information. (However I'm in the process of doing something
using the output of Ethereal to drive some Tcl/Tk based widgets that will do
this).
