People, I am currently looking into a News (NNTP) caching proxy. There are (from what I can see) two different yet quite similar products being developed in parallel.... 1. NNTPCache - http://www.nntpcache.org/ 2. NewsCache - http://www.infosys.tuwien.ac.at/NewsCache/ I have been playing with NNTPcache a bit - it seems to work okay. NewsCache I haven't yet played with. I am after any feedback people can offer on how they perform, good / bad experiences, comparisons, etc. I found NNTPCache died a couple of times during the testing I did however I don't want to blame the software in any way at this point.
