im sorry, i think the email i sent before was in html, and apparently it
pissed some people off, i didnt know
im really pretty new at all of this, im getting the hang of a lot of it,
ive been able to get a bunch of things working,
but i havent been able to get my printer or my cd burner working. i
bought an hp 880c and i think ive got the
computer to know its there, but when i start up the printer tool, it
still says that there is no printer detected
if anyone thinks they might be able to help me with this, i would really
appreciate it, i dont know what to do
anymore and ive heard the people on this list are pretty knowledgable,
some of them
also, my cd burner, i got it to come with the computer, ive downloaded
xcdroast, but i havent been able to
get that to work, i think i might need the drivers, but i dont know
where to find them, and its all a big
mess, and im just not good enough with linux to fix any of it. if anyone
has a little time they might be
willing to devote to helping me out, i would really appreciate it
