Hi all,
I have got my hands on a Toshiba 110ct Laptop (no cdrom) and want to get
linux on it and also learn a bit about PLIP. So i tried hooking up 2
machines with TOMSRTBT and plip. This worked fine but found that i could
not run an ftp daemon to allow a PLIP redhat install but atleast i know the
hardware side of things is ok..... So i went to one of my production boxes
and tried to load the plip module and get the following error;
[root@Lisa /]# insmod plip
/lib/modules/2.2.5-22/net/plip.o: unresolved symbol parport_claim_Rcca15f23
/lib/modules/2.2.5-22/net/plip.o: unresolved symbol

parport_enumerate_R648d1e26
/lib/modules/2.2.5-22/net/plip.o: unresolved symbol parport_release_R4430d136
and here is what modules i have loaded
[root@Lisa /]# lsmod
