[SLUG] scheduler

anyone know of a good schedueler for linux (gnome / kde)
perhaps not unlike nt's little popup reminders

im looking for something lite, perhaps with a todo list or something
i want to wack in assesables, test dates and what not.
then it will tell me to stop ircing and start work =)

but seriously, any suggestions would be appreciated
