Yep Sluggers, thats right. We have arranged a special SLUG meeting at the Linux Expo. We will have a large hall area to accomodate us all, and invitations will go out to all Expo presenters (technical & software). We are expecting a good turn out and the presenter(s) having given their papers prior to the meeting will be free to discuss and present new and exciting views that were expressed in the formal presentations. SLUG with the kind assistance of AES (Aust. Exhibition Services - the Linux Expo people) are making this possible. So, enjoy the Linux Expo and get to the special SLUG meeting Thursday March 9th (date set, but exact time still being finalised, but probably the usual 6:30pm start and a late finish). If you have special interests in any of the formal papers being given, nothing would be better than to attend those sessions directly. Our special meeting will only cover the broad brush issues given the number of presenter(s) and the meeting time restraints. SLUG will be providing "free" entry tickets to the Linux Expo at our February 25th scheduled meeting.
