Did you have a look at the HOWTOs and Mini-HOWTOs? There are several
different mini-HOWTOs on dual-booting Linux with various other operating
systems, including Win95, WinNT, DOS, FreeBSD, and combinations thereof.
Much of the information in these HOWTOs should also apply to dual-booting
SCO and Linux.
HOWTOs are either:
1) in /usr/doc/HOWTO if you're running RH (I think you said you're running
RH 6.x?)
2) at the Linux Documentation Project's web site.
There are also HOWTOs on setting up multiple IDE disks in the one
computer, which you may or may not need to read. See eg the
'Hardware-HOWTO'.
Be aware that I wasn't able to get my 2.2.12 kernel to mount the
filesystem being used by a SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 install here at work a
while ago, and I don't know that it is possible. It appears to be using
either 'hpfs' (SCO name) or a SCO variant on 'sysvfs' (linux name), but an
updated version that the linux driver doesn't yet support. YMMV, this is
just what it looked like to me. If you have success reading the SCO disk
from linux tell me how.
