hi i am thinking of setting up a system that will forward the internet through a WAN. for exsample ppp0 bigpond ppp1 person 1 ppp2 person 2 what i want to do is allow person 1,2 to dial in which is ok and i want them to have acess to the net through ppp0 which is also ok but how can I give say 30% of my bandwith to person 1 30 % to person 2 and have the rest for me... is there an accpetable way of doing this i havent been able to find out anything usefull through mail linux web sites and help. is there anyone out there that has seen this been done... how do ISP's share bandwith from the bone or is it just first in best dressed. thankyou in advace alex BTW what do i have to accept through my firewall to allow MTU discoverys to be made i am using 2.2.13 and ipchains.....
