For my money, web designers are on a giant wank which has
little to do with usefully imparting information (remember we
work in the 'information technology' industry?) and much to do
with outdoing each other with gismos. Imagine how much faster
the whole system would run if we just did away with all the
doo-dads on email, much less the ones on web pages. In other
words, I couldn't agree more.
