Well, csh does this, but better shells (bash, ksh, sh) pass the wildcard
on to the app to deal with.
Well, I'm using bash, albeit version 1.14, and it obviously didn't.
We've had the editor wars, now we can have shell wars :-)
What about the shell-version wars? I've noticed problems moving bash1
scripts to bash2 ... things like IF and FOR, etc... I haven't really
pursued it, as the machines i've been using have stayed on bash1..
