Hi, Can anyone tell me how to get coloured syntax highlighting in emacs when not running X? If I type M-x global-font-lock-mode I get a message "Global font lock mode enabled" but the display doesn't change. I got lost in Info trying to find the answer but I'm sure some emacs advocate can provide a simple explanation or point to the area in the doco where I should look.
