Hello everybody, Just a quick question, I have a machine that I would like to put a internal modem into, but before I go out and buy a 56k internal modem, I wanted to throw the question at you all as to which one I should go for, and which ones I should stay away. Of course the modem is for a linux machine, so you can see why I don't want to buy one only to find it is a winmodem aka dumb modem card. I currently use an external on the PC and my favourite type of modem is external but unfornately, the way things are going with space, and the placement of the PC, a internal would serve the purpose better. Any ideas on models that work well under linux and that are not winmodem flavour? Thanks in advance, Michael ---------------------------------------------------- Email sent via http://webmail.mafnet.com/ ...all we need now is a faster internet connection! -- SLUG - Sydney Linux Users Group Mailing List - http://www.slug.org.au To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in the text
