I lost my system due to high load thanks to ls and rm going into an
"uninterruptable sleep" on a bad /proc entry.
Had to lose a 126 day uptime to correct it.
Not something I like to do, but when the web server refuses to serve and
Sendmail refuses to deliver, what can I do? The system has to be up.
