will give you all pid's accessing files on the filesystem.
Hmm... I just tried to umount /mnt/c but I get told it's busy. But:

$ fuser -v /mnt/c
USER PID ACCESS COMMAND
/mnt/c root kernel mount /winc
What is this?

Oh, yeah, I tried running IE5 in wine (don't shoot me), and, lo and
behold,
$ ps aux|grep wine
az 4268 0.7 17.7 24312 22860 pts/0 T 01:40 0:13 wineserver
4
az 4269 0.5 9.4 30860 12156 pts/0 T 01:40 0:09 wine
iexplore.exe

Well, that fixed that. But why didn't these processes show up in the
fuser?
